Come on MANNNNN

Ok so one of my biggest pet peeves with people is when they say they are going to do something and then they don't! And I don't mean anything like say they will pick up lemons at the store, and then forget. I mean things like pay back money, or to hang out. And what's even worse is when you don't expect them to do it right away, but they make a big deal about doing it, and then flake out still. Here's an idea, don't make an obligation to do something, and then turn around and blow someone off. ESPECIALLY if that person you blow off, has room mates waiting for that money....or if you are continously having to walk to the mailbox, day in and day out, because the other person SWORE up and down they would send it in the mail. And now it's been 15 days since...which is how long it would take to get from Malaysia, and not Texas. It's just not cool at all. I mean seriously, as someone who is broke, and having to literally live off his room mate right now (which is a guilt trip all on it's own), also hoping and praying I get this job today I am interviewing for. I can not afford to piss anyone off, I really can't afford to sit around hoping this $300 will show up any day now, and I certainly don't need someone jerking my chain around about it either. So people the lesson is this! Don't obligate yourself to doing something, and then turn around and flake out on other people! It's rude, it's disrespectful, and it's not cool at all....

Future decisions

So those of you who have ever held a conversation with me about my future school plans know that I am transfering to Western in a year, but what then? Well my plan then is to transfer to DePaul University in Chicago and start working on my MFA right away.
(1: So I can be closer to my brother and his family, 2: So I won't have to wait until after I've paid my current student loans and then begin receiving more aid to begin graduate school, and 3: Because they have an unbelievable graduate MFA directing program)
BUT what you probably don't know, unless we have held the in-depth conversation, is that I would LOVE to get my MFA at Yale University..yes YALE! They are the best of the best, and three times better than that. The cost is about 47,000 a year, and 30,000 not including housing and such. Yea, that's alot of cheeeeeese. Sometimes I sit back and I think I really am that passionate about directing. I am willing to sacrifice that much student debt for my education. But every time I look at those figures I think that's CRAZY. Even given student aid, work study and loans, I would never be able to afford it. And then I think on how CRAZY I would look to people in family for even considering that much money for a degree that involves theatre. What about scholarships people say..Ok maybe for the DeNiro's and the Pitt's out there, but not for the Jared Sloan's of the world...I mean you would have to be able to cry, laugh, HELL break out into HIVES on the spot to get a scholarship for Yale University. My blood pressure shot up just look ing the tuition cost for Yale University. So although DePaul is not cheap by any means it looks like my dreams of Yale will have to continue being dreams....

New blog

So I've decided to delete my myspace account because there are way too predators on it. Facebook has its "notes" but in all fairness if it isn't called a blog, then I don't think you can seriously blog on it. SOOOO here I am on blogspot!

Day one is a GOOOOOO!
